La Contraloría General ha estimado un detrimento patrimonial de 112 mil millones de pesos en el proyecto del Central Park, un autódromo que se construye en Antioquia en medio de denuncias por irregularidades.

El Parque de Deportes a Motor Central Park es un proyecto de la Gobernación de Antioquia, en asocio con el Instituto Departamental de Deportes, que se está construyendo en el municipio de Bello y que la Contraloría General de la República ha etiquetado como el elefante blanco que más recursos le ha costado al departamento.  

Se trata de un proyecto que se gestó durante la gobernación de Luis Pérez (2016-2020) y que, desde entonces, ha sido cuestionado por irregularidades en la administración de los recursos y su ejecución. Desde hace 18 meses el proyecto está detenido y a la espera de que el nuevo contratista, que fue elegido la semana pasada, le dé continuidad al autódromo de 152.284 millones de pesos. 

Hay un hombre que se ha dedicado a hacerle control a esa gigantesca obra. Se trata de Carlos Contreras, abogado y presidente de la Veeduría Ciudadana al Central Park.
